The penalties for underage gambling can be a fine between $500 – $1,000 and a driver's license suspension. Other gambling in the state is legal from age 18. This includes lottery and horse racing. Someone under 18 can take part in amusement games as long as the prize on offer is not cash. To apply for a casino key employee license you must file an application with the New Jersey Casino Control Commission or you may request that the form be mailed to you by calling 609-441-3441.
